Grandparents Galore!

Elliott got a visit from Grandpa Jim and the following week flew out to visit Grandma Marcy. Grandma B helped us get to and from the airport. Elliott had a great time playing with his grandmothers, whom he now calls pretty clearly "Gamma Mawcy" and "Gamma B" and his "Unk Mawk," especially when it involved trains. Elliott learned the train's name is Thomas, from play and from GM's Valentine. Elliott felt it necessary to frequently remind us the identity of my mother's dog, pointing and calling out "Bailey Dog" sometimes several times per minute. We enjoyed a little time outside in the snow but didn't do any sledding. The hill was, however, enjoyed by Nicolas, the 10-year-old son of my Kalamazoo College friend Elizabeth, who came to visit (and I failed to take photos!). Elliott really enjoyed watching Nicolas and Mark play ping pong.
